ATTENTION: This kit will work well, for a life time if well installed. The service MUST be done with professional people and using right equipment's. We DO NOT respond to ANY damage in process of installation. You install this kit with your own risk and all loss are yours.
REMEMBER THIS: You lose the factory warranty if you open the set. So, think well before do it.

The kit

IMPORTANT -Examine your player; Is it working well in the original region? If no, solve the problem before start this upgrade.
-You need all set of instruments to work with SMD devices. Don't start without it.
STARTING : You need to access the MPEG PCB. Some models need to remove the front panel, because the MPEG is installed under the optical unit.
Remove the MPEG PCB and observing picture 1a. and locate the IC6303(X25020) on the MPEG PCB. Remove the protection paper from the adhesive and fix the kit like the picture. 1a. and then solder the correct iron on the correct place. See picture. 2 and picture. 3. Also see the table 1.

Point to connect the iron yellow-4, green-5, brown-1, blue-6 and orange-3

Table 1 - MPEG connections:

1-Iron green-5(Verde-5) on IC6303's pin ‘5’
2-Iron blue-6(Azul-6) on IC6303's pin ‘6’
3-Iron brown-1(Marrom-1) on IC6303's pin ‘1’
4-Iron yellow-5(Amarelo-4) on IC6303's pin '4'
5-Iron Orange-3(Laranja-3) on TP like shows picture.2 *

* To use in a Panasonic A-320, this iron(Orange-3)
must be connected in a different place, in the other side
of MPEG PCB. Be careful with this connection. See picture. 3

-- PANASONIC A120/A160:
    Solder iron red-2(Vermelho-2) on "JUMP" W107(+5Vcc unswitched), at left from 'display'.
    Iron pink-7(Violeta-7) on "JUMP" W109(Remote signal), beside the W107.
-- PANASONIC A320/A360:
    Solder iron red-2(Vermelho-2) on "JUMP" W239(+5Vcc unswitched).
    Iron pink-7(Violeta-7) on terminal de sinal do IC receptor do controle remoto.
-- PANASONIC SA-HT80:
    Solder these irons directly on remote control receiver IC (Z601), installed on front panel board:
    Iron red-2(Vermelho-2) solder on terminal central and the iron pink-7(Violeta-7) on left terminal.

-- PANASONIC SA-DK1 and C220D, Solder the irons red-2(Vermelho-2) and pink-7(Violeta-7) directly on the pin of remote control receiver IC, on the front panel board. See picture 4 and 5 below.

HOW IT WORKS: If correctly installed, the region will be changed this way, with the power player on:

Panasonic A120 and A160: Press 'CANCEL' key and then '4' key to region 4, '2' key to region 2 or '1' key to region 1. The player will turn off and turn on. Install a disc and play.

Panasonic SA-DK1: Press 'EQ' key and then '4' key to region 4, 'EQ' key and then '2' key to region 2 or 'EQ' key and then '1' key to region 1. The player will turn of and turn on itself. Install a disc and play.

Panasonic SA-HT80: Press 'SFC' key and then '4' key to region 4, '2' key to region 2 or '1' key to region 1. The player will turn of and turn on. Install a disc and play.
