HOW TO INSTALL - KPic-22b

APPLICATION: SONY HCD-S300(DAV-S300), DVP-S330, DVP-S530
REGIONS TO LIBERATE: 1(ntsc), 2(pal/ntsc) and 4(ntsc) Macrovision not disabled

***READ WITH ATTENTION BEFORE INSTALLATION***

      
ATENTION: This kit will work well, for a life time if well intalled. The service MUST be done with professional people and using right equipments.  We DO NOT respond to ANY damage in proccess of instalation. You install with your own risc and all loss are your.
  OTHER THING: You lose the factory warranty if you open the set. So, tthink well before do it.

  REVISING THE KIT :  Look pict. 1. Its the kit and the wires. If different, it's not a KPic22b.

  IMPORTANT Are your player working well in the original region?  If no, try to solve the problem before start the upgrade.
    You need all set of instruments to work with SMD devices. Don't start without it.

    All points to fix the kits wires in PCB are in picture 2, 3 and 4. Do it but be very careful. Solder all wire one at a time and correctly like the instruction.

    Looking at pict. 3, 3A and 3B, connect the wires in this order:
    A -wire Green-5:  point with round 5
    B -wire Yellow-4:  point with round 4
    C -wire Blue-6:  point with round 6
    D -wire Black-0: point with round 0
    E-wire Orange-3: point with roud 3		    Looking at pict. 4 and 4A connect the wires like this:
    A-wire Red-2 on point with inscription Vermelho-2
   B-wire Pink-7 on point with inscription Violeta-7

Revise all connection before init the test phase. If all ok, remove the adhesive protection and fix the kit card in a good place. NOT over any SMD component.

HOW TO CHANGE  REGION : In fist time, when connect the player in a AC plug, it'll stay in region 4. To change, please use the remote control set this way:

WITH THE PLAYER ON:

 

 - REGION 1, PRESS: 0 "ZERO" AND THEN "1".
- REGION 2, PRESS: 0 "ZERO" AND THEN "2".
- REGION 4, PRESS: 0 "ZERO" AND THEN "4".

After any region change your player will turn off. Press the 'POWER' key to turn it on again
